Module 1: Foundations for Effective Design (5 hours)

In this module, you will explore the core elements of designing career programs, services, and courses as they relate to ownership, competencies, and ethical practice. You will also reflect on your goals, readiness, and responsibilities as you determine what you intend to create and how you will approach the development process.

Upon successful completion of this module, you will be able to:

  1. Understand how shared terminology, frameworks, and competencies guide program, service, and course development
  2. Apply career development frameworks to inform design decisions
  3. Reflect on ethical, professional, and intellectual property considerations in your own development practices

 The bundle option requires the completion of the following self-paced modules:

  • Design for Learning (5 hours)
  • Program Evaluation (3 hours)
  • Participant/Learner Evaluation (2 hours)

Although the self-paced modules are independent of each other and can be completed in any order, for those aiming to complete the full CMPP Bundle, we do recommend completing in the order listed here.
